Sitting Atop a Hill in West Madison — The Bishop O'Connor Catholic Pastoral Center

Situated on a hilltop in the midst of Madison’s contemporary west side, the Bishop O’Connor Retreat & Conference Center is host to tens of thousands of visitors annually from around the globe—including those from educational institutions, government agencies, nonprofit organizations and wedding/social events.  

There are thirteen meeting rooms of various sizes, a 480-seat auditorium, and a dining room that seats up to 370 guests.  The facility also hosts amazing recreational facilities which include a gymnasium, 2 football fields and a baseball diamond that are available for rent as well.

Recently updated full guest rooms include a full-sized bed, comfortable chair, nightstand, lamp, small desk, and private bath.  More simply appointed, our dorm rooms are especially suited to youth groups.  These rooms include two twin beds (or one set of bunk beds and one twin bed), closet, and private bath.  Our two-room, Gold Coast suites are also available for rent for those who enjoy all the amenities.

With our numerous meeting rooms and several multi-purpose rooms, the O’Connor Center can comfortably host groups of various sizes—from 5 to 500.  Our food and beverage service is available for any occasion – from formal dinners to light snacks.  Overnight guest rooms comfortably accommodate retreat groups, while our recreation facilities provide a place to relax and rejuvenate.  Parking is free.  Food is delicious.  Guest rooms are inviting and comfortable.  Free wireless internet access is available throughout the building.
